Lyric’s Marketing Tip #18:
How To Beef Up Your Personal Brand Marketing
For this week’s tip, I have put together a simple outline of the things you need to do to harness-in your personality and expertise and fine tune your personal brand. Review them all then choose three things to start immediately.
- First things first: Who do you want to be when you grow up?

- Choose a niche that needs your service and will relate to your personal brand
- Develop your compelling story that you will use to introduce you to the market
- Create your marketing plan and strategy
- What channels will you use?
- Develop your content
- Decide your budget of time/imagination/money
Once you have your strategy set up and are confident to push it out to the marketplace, make a splash by utilizing these personal marketing ideas:
- Send personalized postcards, letters and notecards
- Leverage your personal brand on social media
- Create youtube videos
- Create a personally branded Facebook Page
- Create a blog and participate on other blogs, create posts and comment on posts

Your company, your service and product, are an extension of YOU. Build up your company following and gain clients by illustrating through targeted marketing who YOU are and the expertise you bring to your clients. There are so many ways to tell the world about yourself. In developing your personal brand marketing, be bold, be consistent and don’t be afraid to “toot your own horn”. Develop a style to go with your image – hair, makeup, clothes, etc. Get out there and smile, share the love and genuinely show the world what you and your company are all about.
Love and hugs,
Sandy
